The solitude.

Night times are
the coldest.

Not because of
the temperature

But mostly because of
the solitude.

Its not that I’m alone, its just
the lights.

At night the lights glow and mix with
the fog.

Everything seems to shine with that glow, like
the happy memories recalled.

It seems that the misty glowing trees swaying above
the dark and shining wet concrete

Make it easier for a mind to wander far and wide, to
the foolish places.

Everyone knows that a mind ought not to wander alone at night, in
the solitude.

the hum of the machina

I seldom find myself able to recall my dreams. I have heard that in order to properly recall a dream, one must keep a notebook close to the bed and write down the dream upon waking. This has proved ineffective, because I seldom awake thinking about dreams. When I wake, I almost always think “I wish I could go back to sleep.”
This is a stupid fucking wish because the answer is always no; I already set the alarm to give myself the maximum amount of sleep possible. I have heard that in order to get a proper nights sleep one must have a quiet space free from the hum of the machina. One must not use the machina for approximately twenty minutes prior to restful sleep. One is advised to drink milk or eat almonds (but not too many) prior to restful sleep.

I seldom make such arrangements before bed. Usually the order of the night is to mindlessly browse the internet for hours until i realize that its been a few minutes since my last blink, and as a result my eyeballs are on fire. I don’t know why I pull this shit. Perhaps it’s because betraying logic is exciting; A refreshing sensation, highly pleasurable, one that sweeps from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head and into your occipital bun, where it rests.

john slater posted about this man under the heading “my hero.” I dont know if this man is my hero, but I didn’t expect to make it more than 15 seconds through this video. i seriously cracked up for the entire three minutes. i don’t know why it’s so funny, but it just is.

However, the story doesn’t end there. The thing about this man is that he films a lot of stuff. It’s like panning for gold during the goldrush. Just watching this man make dinner is for some reason hilarious. I think though that the cycle will be something like this: funny, funny, less funny, not funny, fucking hilarious, hilarious, less funny, creepy, creepy, disgusting. and then it will either be hilarious forever, or i will forget about this man, because he is fucking insane.
